Kodi® media center is a free and open source cross-platform software media player and award-winning entertainment hub for digital media for HTPC (Home Theater PC). It uses a 10ft user interface designed to be a media player for the living room, using a remote control as the primary input device. Its Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows the user to easily navigate and view videos, photos, podcasts, and music from a hard drive, optical drive, local network and the Internet using just a few buttons. .

IMPORTANT

The official Kodi version contains no content what so ever. This means that you must provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that can provide access to content that is freely available on the content provider's official website. Any other means of watching illegal content that would otherwise be paid for is endorsed or approved by the Kodi team.

Estuary is the new standard skin and is designed to be quick and easy to use.

Along with the Estouchy skin, Kodi has been enhanced to work better with larger 5" or larger phones and tablets. Kodi is not designed or recommended for use with smaller phones.

- Users must provide their own content or install one of the third-party plugins

- In order to upgrade from a previous version, you must have installed an official version released by the Kodi team. Any other version may cause an upgrade failure.
